Cortex is a certified training institute recognized by the CBR/CCV. Our specialized driving courses and driver trainings are unique. We are, in fact, the only company in the Netherlands that integrates executive driver training at all levels with our extensive experience in personal security.

Your course or training is versatile and unique
Our instructors enrich their challenging driving programs with the experience of our own colleagues who are active daily in the field of personal security. For example, in several courses/trainings, you will practice the procedures and protocols that apply to personal security. As a professional driver trained by Cortex, you will not only receive the certificate, but you will also gain skills in personal security from our own practical experience.

Our training vehicles are equipped with built-in security devices
It is also unique that all our training vehicles are equipped with special security devices, such as built-in alarm buttons, which are necessary to ensure the security of the person being transported. From a certain training level onwards, you will become familiar with the correct use of both visible and invisible security devices. The associated procedures and protocols also receive ample attention, such as communication with the private alarm center (PAC), the Police, and a Crisis Management Team (CMT).

High standards for drivers and instructors
Drivers trained by Cortex are professionals who work for companies and governments, for wealthy families, and successful entrepreneurs. It is quite common that the client of the drivers we have trained is not only a person to be transported, but also a person to be protected. For these special skills required of professional drivers, Cortex also offers specialized courses and trainings. And it is good to know that our instructors themselves are also regularly trained with the help of an external educational company.

Cortex is certified by the CBR/CCV and offers professional driver training for executive chauffeurs. With the Cortex CCV certificates, you can demonstrate to any potential employer that you possess these skills.

The CCV-D2 course is the logical next step after the CCV-D1 course. In the D2 course, we teach you, among other things, an assertive driving style in which you discreetly and actively apply security techniques.

We train you to drive with an offensively tolerant driving style. You will be trained to recognize risky situations in time and learn to think and act independently in a proactive manner.

After completing this training, you will master driving techniques for extreme and high-risk traffic situations. We provide intensive training to enhance your problem-solving skills and self-reliance in stressful situations.

You will learn how to handle the increased weight of an armored vehicle. You will also know how to use the armored vehicle tactically, so that you can make optimal use of the mobile 'safehouse'.

You will learn how to carry out a driving assignment with your priority vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. This training is accessible to drivers who are or will be active at a number of selected organizations.

Training at your location in high-risk areas, collecting application points by choosing the left lane in Scotland, or a slippery ice road in Swedish Lapland, or off-road gravel in Portugal. Customization is possible.

You learn to observe, instead of just looking. With these courses, you learn to anticipate threats using observation techniques. You will also bring your knowledge of first aid for accidents and incidents up to standard.

In our Circuit Training, you will be trained for all possible situations that may arise when driving in more extreme weather conditions. If you have a specific request, we are happy to provide you with a customized program.
