We continuously monitor the threat and potential changes in risks. Suppose you appoint your children as successors in the management of your company. This has consequences for both you and your children. We analyze the new situation and adjust the security measures accordingly.

In the event of changes or extensions to security measures, Cortex acts as your independent advisor in the selection and management of a certified installer. Cortex is in no way financially involved in this process and checks the completed work for compliance with the previously established specifications.

Our colleagues meet the highest standards in their field. As a result, the likelihood of a security risk escalating for you is very small. Nevertheless, we regularly conduct unannounced tests of the procedures for and with our colleagues. This keeps all parties involved alert.

Depending on your risk profile, you will be protected by a close protection officer either visibly, invisibly, or in both ways. For example, a preventive observer may already be covertly active at your destination, a security driver will take you there, and upon arrival, you will be protected by personal security officers in close protection formation or from a distance.

An emergency report always comes in at the control center, which immediately contacts the Cortex on-call service. Whether it’s a network outage or a burglary alarm in the middle of the night, we take immediate action, escalate to other services such as the police when necessary, and do not stop until the incident is fully resolved.

To ensure your safety, cooperation between Cortex and third parties such as installers and private alarm responders is necessary. Cortex has insight into all contracts, manages them without margin, and thus monitors the procedures and the quality delivered.

We inventory which organizational, structural, and electronic security measures you already have and check their proper functioning. This applies to the technical condition as well as the correct operation of escalation protocols. Where necessary, we advise you on desired adjustments.

If necessary, we deploy preventive observation for your safety. A personal security guard will be present either statically (in one place) or dynamically (on foot or in a vehicle) before you arrive at one of your regular locations. The preventive observer scans the surroundings for unusual patterns.

We inform you about your specific escalation scenarios and train you in the appropriate response. For example, by providing training in the correct use of the panic room or by increasing your alertness while driving with a security awareness driving course.

You will receive your personal emergency number from us, so we know exactly who is calling and what your specific security measures are in case of an emergency. Your call does not go to an anonymous emergency center, but to someone who knows who you are and can escalate immediately.

It is possible that you require a personal security guard in the capacity of a security driver. The security driver thoroughly prepares your journeys and manages the entry and exit procedures. With the vehicle, the security driver remains on standby in your immediate vicinity, in case an emergency exit needs to be carried out.

We train you to recognize and deal with situations that may pose a potential threat. For example, what should you do if someone in a police uniform rings your doorbell? Or how should you respond if you see that same unfamiliar car parked near your entrance gate for the third time?
