Director/owner Erik Muller is your contact person for security management. Erik will be happy to explain which solutions we can offer you.
Depending on the market in which your company operates or the environment in which your government organization is active, you are faced with security risks. The experienced security consultants at Cortex help you make these risks manageable.
Tailored solutions
We assess the threats and analyze the risks relevant to you. Based on this, we propose customized security measures. These provide protection against the identified risks and make the situation manageable for you. The security measures can be organizational, structural, or electronic and they reinforce each other. For example, think of red teaming or sweeping rooms.
Experienced team
Your security at Cortex is in the hands of a large team of experienced specialists who have gained years of experience with many private and public clients, as well as with (specialist) units of defense and police. This includes senior security consultants, close protection officers, surveillance experts, driving instructors, security managers, security coordinators, private investigators, and crisis management experts.
24/7/365
Cortex is available and accessible for you 24/7/365. On call in case of an emergency or as part of an ongoing business program. We work both nationally and internationally for a wide range of clients, from wealthy families to executive boards and boards of directors. From medium-sized companies to multinationals. From ministries to local government agencies. You are most welcome!
We conduct a risk analysis, mapping out both internal and external risks. We look at vulnerabilities related to, for example, products, production processes, burglary, loss of confidential information, reputational damage, and safety risks for employees abroad.
We can support you immediately. Based on a security risk analysis, we determine the necessary measures. For example, with security managers, preventive observers, close protection officers and security drivers. These specialists are employed by Cortex. The deployment can be ad hoc and short-term, but also planned and long-term.
It is not always easy to determine whether the person in front of you is reacting out of emotion or aggression. And how do you respond to that? We provide customized training for your employees. This way, you learn to recognize behavior and deal with it in the right way.
Based on the identified internal and external risks, we advise on an appropriate security philosophy and the corresponding security measures (organizational, structural, and electronic). These are documented in a security plan. The aim of all measures is to reduce the risks and make them more manageable.
We train your employees and security personnel to recognize unusual patterns. These may be signs of increased threats and rising risks to (personal) safety. We ensure that after identifying these risks, your people are also able to respond to them appropriately. The goal is always to ensure that (personal) safety is safeguarded.
To protect your competitive advantage, it is wise to actively counter industrial espionage. If your company or organization operates in an environment where the stakes are high, it is not a question if, but when third parties will attempt to secretly gain insight into your business. This can happen in a literal sense, but more likely in a figurative sense, for example through eavesdropping devices in the boardroom or GPS tracking of executive vehicles.
If you are being extorted, someone is trying to make you pay or do something in exchange for your own security. Blackmail is more or less the same, except you are pressured with the possible disclosure of sensitive information about you. Cortex helps you immediately and advises you on which measures to take.
Red teaming is a commonly used method to test the security measures and protocols in place within your company. We use various techniques and tactics to gain access to your company, either digitally or physically.
If a critical service fails, it affects the entire society. That’s why this WWKE-law exists, but how do you approach this in practice? We help your organization to work in compliance with the applicable Dutch laws and regulations.
