Executive driver training
Cortex is certified by the CBR and offers the Basic Training CCVD1. As an executive chauffeur (also known as a directiechauffeur), you need to possess specific skills, for example regarding your driving ability, attitude, and service. With the Cortex CCVD1 certificate, you can show any potential employer that you possess these skills.

An intensive training course, provided by highly experienced instructors
Starting level
You have a valid category B driving license, extensive driving experience, and want to work professionally as an executive chauffeur, security driver, or personal bodyguard.
Number of participants
Maximum of two participants per instruction vehicle.
Training duration
Five days, including practical exam.
Training location
From a prearranged starting location. The training takes place on public roads and a small part at a closed practice center.
Certification
After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of participation for the Cortex Basic Training CCV-D1. The certificate will be registered with the CCV, which is part of the CBR.
The certificate is valid for 5 years, and during this period you are required to attend 3 application days if you wish to renew your certificate.

Program
During this intensive training course, we will train you as a prospective executive chauffeur in developing a safe, smooth, and comfortable driving style. You will learn what we mean by a professional attitude and become familiar with the theory applicable to an executive chauffeur. Naturally, you will also extensively practice this theory in real-life situations. The following components are covered in the program:
- Introduction and discussion of the training
- Improvement of vehicle handling and control
- Improvement of observation techniques, anticipation skills, and traffic insight
- Turning techniques
- Expansion of observation and anticipation skills
- Achieving good and safe interaction with other road users
- Applying the correct cornering technique
- Driving on the motorway
- Use of the navigation system
- Procedure for getting in and out of the vehicle
- Preventive safety and basic security techniques
- Professional attitude of the executive chauffeur
The practical exam for the Cortex Basic Training CCV-D1 is independently examined by the CCV. The theory part is also taken at a CCV/CBR location. Upon passing both exams, you will receive the CCV-D1 certificate for your future position as an executive chauffeur.
