An armored car indicates an increased threat
Starting level
You possess at least a valid Armored Vehicle Training certificate or a comparable qualification and work as an executive chauffeur, security driver, or personal security officer.
Number of participants
Maximum of 2 participants per instruction vehicle.
Training duration
Choice of one, two, or three application days.
Training location
From a pre-arranged starting location. This training is provided on public roads in the Netherlands and abroad. For multi-day training abroad, a hotel stay is included in the relevant training area.
Certification
After successfully completing the course, you will receive the Armored Vehicle Driving Application certificate, issued by Cortex. You will also receive a concise written report containing personalized follow-up advice.
Planning
On request. The training is only provided with the simultaneous participation of 2 participants.
CCV Application Day
During this driving training, application days can be registered. Cortex ensures that your certificate is renewed for another 5 years with the CBR/CCV.
Program
We ensure that your knowledge and skills are updated and further deepened to the Armored Vehicle Training level. By following this application training, the validity of your Armored Vehicle Training certificate is maintained. The following components are covered in the program:
- Introduction and discussion of the training
- Updates regarding driving an armored vehicle
- Vehicle operation and control with a heavy vehicle
- Expansion of traffic insight and anticipation
- Proper assessment of unusual driving situations with a heavy vehicle
- Timely recognition and identification of risky situations
- Observation, looking, and (preventive) monitoring
- Entry and exit procedures
- Cornering and overtaking techniques with a heavy vehicle
- Driving in challenging, hilly training areas
- Performing special security maneuvers in daily traffic and in emergency situations
- Resolving various incidents through realistic case studies
- Proper professional attitude and social criteria
